Grayson and Leah met online, but not in the way you might think. Grayson had just moved to New York, and was living in a charming but old apartment in Brooklyn. Starry eyed and looking to make it work in the big city, he sent out lots of emails to prospective professional connections. He’d met a friend of Leah’s at a party, found out that they had similar lines of work, and penned a quick email asking her if she was available to talk shop over coffee sometime.

The problem was, Leah lived 700 miles away, in Chicago. With a shrug and cordial “best of luck,” she sent a quick response and didn’t think much more of it. However, in about a year’s time, Leah’s path shifted and she found herself on a tour of Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a familiar local. Immediately, it was very clear that the two were compatible. Leah and Grayson bonded over their shared hometown of Atlanta, their mutual love of cooking, and their extraordinarily silly senses of humor. A coffee turned into dinner, dinner turned into two. The couple have been inseparable since.

With six years, two cats and a well worn path on I-95 between Atlanta and New York behind them, Leah and Grayson are making it official. They like each other very very much.
